Street Photography
Street photography isn’t about streets or buildings, it’s about humanity, the human condition. Its name can be misleading, but the genre has always been a form of candid documentary despite social media perceptions.
My approach is to document the life of the people of Wales in the short time that I have. I look for micro events, moments that pass so quickly that we never register them, but in the frozen image they last forever, their time stopped so that we may appreciate and understand the person and the culture of the time.
As many street photographers understand, our work is often meaningless in its own time, but will hopefully inherit meaning in the future, long after we are dead. I hope you enjoy what you see here.
