Bare in mind that film prices do change quite often and the listed prices may be very quickly made outdated.

Kodak Vision3 500T

The best film available, but dificult to work with. Incredibly versatile colour film designed for motion picture filming, but can be adapted for photography. Currently hard to source as individual rolls, but often available for aprox £12 per roll.

Developing £45. (up to 20 rolls)

Kodak ColorPlus

Most affordable colour film on the market. Soft pastel colours and bright skin tones. Easy to work with and readily available. Typical cost £14 per roll.

Developing £45. (up to 20 rolls)

Redscale

A DIY process of reversing the film in the canister that creates photos soaked in a red hue. Somewhat unpredictable results, but very striking. Typical cost £14 per roll.

Developing £45. (up to 20 rolls)

Kodak Gold

Affordable colour film. Warm tones and, bright classic film colours. Better in outdoors conditions, but can be used anywhere if controlled correctly. Currently available at £13 per roll.

Developing £45. (up to 20 rolls)

Color 92

An experimental film. Requires precision shooting to get consistent results, but fun to work with due to the unpredictability of the results. Grainy, dirty colours, grungy, heavily stylistic. Currently priced at £12 per roll.

Developing £45. (up to 20 rolls)

Digital

Colours can be adapted to suit where needed. Advantage is there’s essentially infinite shots to be made and there’s no cost attached.
